How the Group grows
Arsh was not built as an overnight success. It has grown one opportunity at a time, and each new business begins the same way: by understanding the market, building the right relationships and making calculated decisions with a long-term view.
What it stands for
The Group places its emphasis on growth, innovation and trust, and on a founding belief that true success should benefit everyone involved: clients, partners, employees and the communities its businesses serve.

The man behind
the vision
Entrepreneur, Investor, Philanthropist, Humanitarian
Mohammed Ameenuddin is the Founder and Chairman of the Arsh Group of Companies and the founder of the Arsh Human Needs Foundation. His life's work moves between two commitments that, for him, have always belonged together: building enterprises and serving people in need.
His journey has crossed industries, businesses and opportunities. What has not changed is the conviction beneath it: success means more when it makes a difference for others.
Build with ambition. Lead with integrity. Respect every faith. Serve every human being.
His story, in six chapters
-
Age 15Starting young, by choice
He grew up in a family with a strong business background, surrounded by enterprise from an early age. But an entrepreneurial environment was not enough for him. He wanted to find out what he could build on his own.
At 15, using savings from his pocket money, he bought a couple of lorries and started a small transport business. There was no corporate office and no group behind it: only a young man, a few vehicles and the determination to make it work. At an age when most people are still deciding what to become, every decision, commitment and mistake was his to learn from. He did not inherit his entrepreneurial identity. He built it.
-
The journeyFrom a couple of lorries to a business group
That first venture became his business education: operations, customers, assets and the discipline it takes to keep a business moving. As his experience grew, he began to see opportunities beyond transport.
One business led to another, and each opened the door to the next. It took years of patience and the resolve to keep going when circumstances changed. What matters is not simply the number of companies that followed, but the distance travelled from one young man's first venture to an ecosystem of enterprises in Bengaluru and Dubai.
-
LeadershipFrom entrepreneur to institution builder
As the Group grew, so did the reach of his decisions. The young founder who once decided for a single business now leads companies whose choices touch employees, customers, partners and communities.
He learned early that businesses are built through people as much as capital, through trust as much as transactions, and through patience as much as ambition. That understanding still shapes the way he leads.
-
PhilanthropyWhen success changed the question
In the early years, the question was simple: what can I build? As his businesses matured, it became a different one: what can what I have built do for others?
For him, philanthropy is not a corporate activity placed beside the business. It is a personal commitment he carries alongside it, and one he treats with the same seriousness as any enterprise.
-
The FoundationA different kind of investment
He founded the Arsh Human Needs Foundation to reach people who are poor, sick, elderly or living with disabilities. His ambition for it goes beyond a day's relief: to help people move towards a more self-reliant life.
That is why its work extends to scholarships for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, skill development for women and school-adoption programmes for children from poorer communities. Relief can solve today's problem. Education and skills can change tomorrow.
-
HumanityRespect every faith. Serve every human being.
He holds faith, spirituality and the religious and cultural traditions of the communities around him in deep respect, and takes part in them with sincerity. At the same time, his approach to humanitarian service is firmly secular and inclusive.
For him, the two sit comfortably together. A hungry person needs food, a sick person needs care and a child needs an education. Need does not ask for a religion, and help should never depend on one. It is why the Foundation he established describes itself, by design, as non-religious.
Faith can be personal. Humanity must be universal.
The principles he leads by
Start with what you have
Waiting for perfect circumstances can mean waiting forever.
Take responsibility
A business becomes meaningful when its founder accepts responsibility for its outcomes.
Earn trust
Relationships are among the most valuable assets a business can build.
Recognise opportunity
Growth often comes from seeing possibilities where others see only limitations.
Keep learning
Every sector, every challenge and every relationship can teach something.
Think beyond the immediate
The aim is not a single successful transaction, but something capable of lasting.
Two sides of one legacy
Through business, he builds
- Enterprises
